![]() This will be most of the time your Hootcake, but if you don’t have anything in grave, then don’t do this. The cat allows you to Special Summon one Madolche monster from your hand. ![]() A second Hootcake or a second Mewfeuille is never wrong except if you want to do some crazy combos with Ticket at the end, then you have to keep in mind what you should leave in your deck. If you already have everything, you don’t even have to play her so I won’t talk about that, but you can always search more stuff. The only thing I wouldn’t search is a Messengelato as you want to Special Summon it with M-X-Saber Invoker. If you already have Hootcake, no problem search for Mewfeuille for even more crazy combo stuff. In this Ghostrick build you will most likely want to search for Hootcake as you can start your combos really easy with Jiangshi already on the field or having Mary in your hand to special Jiangshi from your deck. Make up your own mind and decide how much you want to play, I always played maximum Stratos and I will play 3 Magileine. ![]() I would always recommend playing 3 copies, but some people say they only need 2. Together with the field spell she has a boasting 1900 ATK, so a pretty nice card. This card is your Stratos in your deck aka the searcher. Now that we have solved this question, let’s talk about the Madolche core engine: Mary and Jiangshi thins out your deck making it easier to draw into the cards you need.Ghostricks (especially Mary) fill your grave with monsters you need to banish for Hootcake.Ghostrick Jiangshi is LV 3 and enables you to special M-X-Saber Invoker. They stall this gives you the time to search your Madolche stuff you need to start your combo. So first of all: This deck is not a one turn kill deck that needs no set-up (unless you open Mewfeuille, Hootcake, Reinforcement Of The Army and already have a Veiler or Maxx C in grave), it does have the possibility, but most of the time you will need to search your combo stuff together to get your combo started. ![]() Note that this build still doesn’t include Anjelly, as Anjelly makes Ghostricks unnecessary in my opinion. I changed quite a bit to match it to my own playstyle and the current meta. I’ll be honest this isn’t my own idea but one of Gabriel Andrade who topped the YCS 2014 in Chicago (here’s his original deck profile and here is his feature match on Konami’s blog). The combo explanations are the same though. Important Note: This is a draft from like 8 months ago, you can still play it like this as a budget version, but with the access to Anjelly the deck became much better. If your Madolche monster is destroyed by your own effects, such as Dark Hole, the effects will not trigger, nor will you get Chateau/ Ticket effect. So if your Madolche monster gets swapped by Creature Swap their effect will not trigger in the grave. If this card is destroyed when its original owner does not have control of it, the effect does not activate. This means that it just has to be destroyed no matter if it hits the field or not ( Solemn Warning prevents the monster from hitting the field, but still destroys them). This effect will activate even if this card is destroyed in the hand or Deck by the opponent and sent to the Graveyard. In case that you have Chateau/ Ticket then their effects will trigger, too. If your opponent negates the Summon of your Madolche monster, then the shuffle into the deck effect is still applied. Also I noticed that most bloggers that I knew from before have stopped posting (at least about YGO), so now I’ll try to counter this trend by writing again in order that the internet doesn’t lack some creative YGO input □ Of course I did play Yu-Gi-Oh! casually and online, but I didn’t deem anything worthful enough to write a post. □ĭragons were dominating the scene, then Fire Fists/Mermail, so nothing that interesting… The draft of this post is exactly 1 year old, so the part with the Ghostrick engine might be a little outdated. Happy new year to you all! Stay healthy and best wishes from me. I was busy as a student and DJ and in addition to that the meta didn’t really allow to write something that wasn’t “How to counter the meta?”. So first of all, like I wrote on the Facebook-Page I’m sorry for one year with no posts.
